The
Mikhail Beniumov and Larissa Markossyan's Duet has existed since 1985.
Both partners graduated from the Gnesins' Russian Academy of Music (Mockow).
That is to explain a high level of ensemble culture and the unity of school
and performing style, which characterize the Duet. The Duet's repertoire
includes all chamber compositions of J.Brams and S.Prokofiev, monoprograms
consisting of Bach and Mozart's musical compositions, as well as the solo
violin masterpieces. Beniumov and Markossyan perform as soloists of the
Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra, the founders and directors of which they
